When CLK packed up after the 136th Canton Fair in Guangzhou — held in October and November 2024, with the luggage and bags zone in the third phase — our samples had been handled, weighed and inspected by buyers from across the globe, and the notepad in the booth was full.
Two products carried the booth that session. The first was our groundbreaking hybrid-material luggage: a case that blends hard-shell protection with soft-side flexibility, designed for travelers who want the armor of a rigid shell and the give of a fabric case in one piece. The second was our newly designed PC luggage sets, updated with fresh proportions, hardware and colorways for the coming seasons.
Why the Hybrid Mattered
The hybrid line drew the most questions, and honestly, that's the reaction we hoped for. Hard-shell cases protect; soft-side cases flex and swallow extra packing. Most travelers have had to choose. The hybrid approach refuses the trade-off, and at the fair we watched buyers test that claim with their own hands — pressing the panels, checking how the case closes when packed full, asking where the seams sit.
A Fair Full of Connections
The 136th edition was a successful event for us, and not just for the orders. It's where we met suppliers, compared notes with peers, and got direct feedback on our product direction from the people who actually sell luggage for a living. Behind the booth sat the factory that backs it all: 16+ years of OEM/ODM experience, a 33,000-square-meter facility in Ji'an, Jiangxi, five production lines and a 98% shipped-batch qualification rate.
