The direct answer
A CCC certificate names three different companies - the applicant, the manufacturer and the factory - plus the product model, standards and validity dates, and each block answers a different question. The applicant owns the certification relationship, the manufacturer is the brand or legal entity responsible for the product design, and the factory is where the goods are physically produced. On our 8838 power source certificate, the applicant and manufacturer are Guangzhou Fast Turtle Technology, the factory is Huizhou Shuangju Energy Technology, and the product is the XL-N1001-001R power source - valid until September 2030.

Why the three names matter
The applicant, manufacturer and factory can be three different companies - and that is normal in Chinese manufacturing. The blocks exist so the reader can verify the chain:
- Applicant - the party that applied and holds the certificate.
- Manufacturer - the entity responsible for the product's conformity (often the brand).
- Factory - the physical production site, which market surveillance can audit.
If you are buying from a factory that is not named on the certificate, the document does not cover that factory's production - regardless of what the seller says.
Validity: the date that keeps the document honest
CCC certificates carry printed validity dates, and ours runs from September 12, 2025 to September 11, 2030. Three checks around validity:
- Is it still valid today? An expired certificate covers nothing.
- Does the validity match the product's production period? Components produced outside the certificate's valid window need their own evidence.
- Do the standards still apply? Standards can be revised before the certificate expires; the current editions are the baseline.
Factory data: The identity blocks are where certificate misuse happens. We have seen buyers handed a battery certificate from one factory while the actual component came from another - the names never matched. That is why our quality team keeps the certificate's applicant, manufacturer and factory in the same file as the supplier's license and shipping records: the chain has to be verifiable end to end.
What buyers should do with these blocks
- Match the product model to the component in your bill of materials.
- Match the factory to the supplier you are buying from.
- Match the electrical spec (voltage, current) to your product's requirements.
- Check the validity dates against your production and shipping windows.
- Verify by QR or CNCA - the certificate itself says how.
FAQ
What is the difference between applicant, manufacturer and factory on a CCC certificate?
The applicant holds the certification relationship, the manufacturer is the entity responsible for the product, and the factory is the physical production site. They can be the same company or three different companies.
Why is the factory different from the manufacturer on our certificate?
It is a normal manufacturing structure: the manufacturer (Guangzhou Fast Turtle) is responsible for the product, while production happens at the certified factory (Huizhou Shuangju). The certificate documents both.
Does CLK appear on this certificate?
No - the certificate covers the power source component, and CLK is not the applicant or manufacturer of that component. CLK integrates the certified component into Model 8838 and keeps the documentation in the product folder.
How long is the certificate valid?
From September 12, 2025 to September 11, 2030 - five years. Always check the validity window against your production dates.
What if the factory on the certificate is not my supplier?
Then the certificate does not cover your supplier's production. Ask for the certificate that matches the factory you are actually buying from.
How do I verify the certificate is real?
Scan the QR code on the certificate or check the certificate number on the CNCA website. Both routes are printed on the document itself.
