A Walk Through Our Factory Floor, From Resin Pellet to Sealed Carton
Stand at the head of our injection molding line and you'll see the whole story of how a suitcase is born. Raw pellets go in one end, and about ten meters later a shell comes out — seamless, still warm, smelling faintly of melted polymer.
I've watched that line run for sixteen years now, and the process hasn't stopped improving. Precision engineering, strict quality control, stable mass production — those aren't slogans on our wall. They're the sequence of steps below, each one with a checkpoint you can stand at and watch.
1. Design and Material Preparation
Every case starts as a CAD model. We optimize structure, weight, and durability, then validate the design with prototypes before anything touches a mold.
Material selection is deliberate: high-strength PC/ABS for shells, aluminum-magnesium alloy for frames, wear-resistant fabrics for soft pieces, reinforced components throughout. Before production, every batch is inspected for thickness, toughness, and color consistency. A mismatch here shows up in every case that follows, so we don't let it through.
2. Shell Forming
Hard-shell luggage goes through injection molding or thermoforming under precisely controlled temperature and pressure. The result is a seamless, high-strength shell. CNC trimming then brings every edge to within ±0.5 mm of spec, so the two halves fit like they were born together.
Soft-shell luggage takes a different route: computerized cutting machines slice fabric panels with minimal waste and maximum consistency. Same discipline, different material.
3. Frame and Component Production
Aluminum alloy frames are extruded, cut, and punched for structural stability. Handles, wheels, locks, and zippers are manufactured or inspected against push-pull, load, and impact standards. Only parts that qualify reach the assembly line — the rest never meet a shell.
4. Sewing and Interior Assembly
This is where craftsmanship shows. Workers stitch linings, dividers, and pockets with high-strength thread, using double stitching and reinforced stress points. Walk the sewing section and check the seams yourself: clean, even, straight. That's our workmanship standard, and it's visible to anyone who looks.
5. Final Assembly
Technicians integrate shells, frames, wheels, handles, locks, and zippers into a finished product. Every joint is tested for smooth operation and firmness, and semi-finished pieces are checked layer by layer so defects never ride along to the next stage.
6. Comprehensive Quality Control
Every piece goes through the same battery of tests before it earns a label:
- Drop, load-bearing, and vibration resistance
- Wheel and handle fatigue endurance
- Zipper smoothness and lock reliability
- Appearance inspection for scratches, color difference, and deformation
Only products that meet ISO and industry standards proceed. That gate is not negotiable, and it's the reason our defect rates stay low even on tight delivery schedules.
7. Cleaning, Packaging, and Shipment
Qualified luggage is cleaned, labeled, and packed with protective materials so it survives transit. From there it joins a production schedule built for scale — stable mass production and on-time delivery for global orders.
